This book is about the Ingalls family and takes place in the 1800's, when there was no electricity, grocery store, or internet. Laura, a young girl, tells the true stories of the adventures of her life through a series of many many books. I fell in love with the series in fifth grade, when my teacher would read to us every day after lunch. We didn't have air conditioning, and we'd sit in front of a big box fan to cool off while she read. I'd race to the library as soon as we finished a book and couldn't wait to devour the next one.
I recommend this book and series because it's a classic and very interesting to learn about an era when life was so different from today.
